Over at the IT news category, Asiaone accumulated markedly less votes from all respondents with a majority tendency to rank it 3^rd place, which hints at Asiaone's better rapport with marketers as a search and business site rather than an IT news site.

Unlike in the previous two categories, Asiaone as an IT news site enjoyed almost equal status with companies of local and foreign origin alike. Along the agency/client divide, more agency-side respondents voted for Asiaone than did client-side respondents - an interesting diversion from the usual trend engendered in the search site and business site categories where the reverse was true.

What remained the same in this category, however, was that respondents with regional responsibilities were still more well-disposed towards Asiaone than respondents with local responsibilities, which can be interpreted as a sign of the former group's implicit trust in the website's impact beyond local shores.
