SPH MAGAZINES GLOBE MEDIA GROUP LICENSING AGREEMENT
- Globe Media to publish The Peak Indonesia
- Follows deal with SPH Magazines
- Will take over in the new year
Singapore - Globe Media Group has inked a licensing agreement with SPH Magazines to publish The Peak Indonesia from next year.
This partnership between the two media groups will take effect from the January 2010 issue of The Peak Indonesia. It will adopt a new design and feature stronger content, following in the footsteps of the other editions of The Peak in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
As a result of the partnership, the title will also be published 12 times a year, up from the six issues currently.
Globe Media Group has two flagship publications, Globe Asia and The Jakarta Globe.
"SPH Magazines is licensing The Peak Indonesia to Globe Media to further grow the brand. We are confident that Globe Media will bring the title to greater heights in terms of both editorial excellence and readership," said Dennis Pua, managing director of SPH Magazines.
"The Peak Indonesia is an exciting addition to Globe Media's growing stable of publications. We look forward to working closely with SPH to enhance the title in a fast expanding market," said Shoeb Kagda, managing director of Globe Media.
