Senior Supply Chain Manager

SUPPLY CHAIN        SENIOR APPOINTMENTS      

Hong Kong - The successful candidate will manage the full spectrum of the supply chain including procurement, planning, distribution, inventory and logistics.

Role Description

• Manage the full spectrum of Supply Chain including procurement, planning, distribution, inventory and logistics etc
• Oversee procurement activities to source, qualify and monitor material & component suppliers, ensuring high quality, readily availability and cost-effective supplies that meet the product performance specifications
• Monitor supplier performance to assess capabilities and minimise risk and establish contingency plans with backup sources where necessary
• Liaise with internal departments including manufacturing, logistics, quality and program managers in relation to the supply chain issues
• Develop and implement best practices; introduce continuous improvements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of Supply Chain

Requirements:

• Master Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years' practical experience in managing the full spectrum of Supply Chain
• Management function, from procurement to delivery in lighting or electronics industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Well versed in PCs operation e.g. MSWords, PowerPoint, Chinese Word processing etc
• Frequent travel to PRC is required
