Material Director Quality Manager / R&D Manager / Fabric Technician

Role Description:

The successful candidate will be competent in  implementing company quality systems, provide risk assessment of all new products and also create and maintain accurate data records.

The main responsibilities will include the following:

• Implement company quality systems at every stage of product development
• Evaluate and ensure that all products are fitted, sealed, tested and approved, so that they meet company 's quality, performance, safety and legal requirements
• Provide sample comments after sample evaluation
• Risk assessment of all new products is done to identify potential legal or safety issues and define controls to manage them
• Create and maintain accurate data records for technical KPI pack
• Resolve issues / queries with the head office buyers and suppliers
• Induct suppliers on company's sampling requirements, testing and quality standards
• Communicate potential issues with new suppliers or any issues relating to garments to the Production Technologist

• Product Knowledge of Functional Outerwear or Active Sport Wear or Dedicated Intimate Wear
• Strong Understanding on Fabric Technique and Quality Management
  • Experience Working in Manufacturing Factories or Fabric Development is Preferable.
  
  

• Minimum 5 years QA experiences in Garment / Textile / Apparel industry
• Knowledge in garment construction, pattern making and/or workmanship is preferable
• Experience in Fitting and Sampling approval preferred
• Working experience in MNC buying office is highly preferable
• Technical knowledge in functional/ dedicated product is an advantage
• Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
