Hong Kong - Reporting to the Vice President of Global Procurement, the Senior Supply Chain Manager will manage a small team in Hong Kong and Shenzhen to lead all procurement activities in Asia.

Role Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Procurement, the Senior Supply Chain Manager will manage a small team in Hong Kong and Shenzhen to lead all procurement activities in Asia.

The main responsibilities will include the following:

• Manage the procurement of all raw materials, equipments and services for the operations in Asia
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures and Policies & Procedures for the Supply Chain operations with alignment to corporate compliance
• Vendor management to ensure optimal pricing, quality and on-time delivery
• Responsible for strategic and operational planning, cost controlling, managing projects and services;
• Responsible for the logistics (transportation and warehouse) and inventory management
• Lead the regional initiatives and share best practices in the region
• Achieve material cost saving on a continuous basis
• As an internal consultant for projects in the area of Supply Chain Management.

Requirements:

• Degree holder; MBA is highly desired
• Over 8 years' Procurement / Supply Chain experience; 4 years in manufacturing operations
• Experience with ERP / MRP and e-Procurement systems; preferably with JDE
• Experience in applying quality improvement principles
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills; fluent in Mandarin a must
