Yahoo's popularity with the financial/business sector becomes even more apparent when we look at its performance in the business site category. Standing at fourth place with 7.93% of total votes cast, Yahoo is but 37 votes away from top scorer, Channel NewsAsia. This time around, majority of respondents ranked Yahoo in 1^st instead of 2^nd place - a sign that respondents are slightly more predisposed towards Yahoo as an effective business site.

More respondents with regional responsibility (25 votes) than respondents with Singapore only responsibility (8 votes) voted for Yahoo in this category, suggesting that Yahoo is more popular with advertisers who want to bring their message beyond Singapore. This trend was later repeated in the IT news site category.
