Singapore - The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has placed the creative and media accounts for Changi Airport Terminal 3 up for pitch and Crush Advertising, Young & Rubicam, Redworks, Rocket-X Media, and Saatchi LAB have thrown their hats in for the business valued at $3 million.
CAAS marketing manager Chia Sooi Lian told Marketing that the company was in the midst of evaluating submissions, with an announcement of the winning agency expected by early June.
The brief calls for an integrated marketing and communications plan for Terminal 3 which includes providing ad and creative and media planning and buying services, in a bid to market and reinforce the airport's position in the international community as well as create awareness of the opening of Terminal 3, which is scheduled for early 2008.
Among other things, agencies will be evaluated on the strength of their overall creative concept and adaptability across various communications platforms and the ability to propose and recommend other creative and cost-effective forms of ATL and BTL platforms that can meet the objectives of the brief.
