Nokia calls on Schaumann

Singapore - Days after leaving Micorosoft, Chris Schaumann has joined Nokia as the head of online sales and marketing for the region.
In his new role, Schaumann will manage the online sales and marketing teams across Southeast Asia Pacific. The region includes markets such as Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Philippines and others.
Schaumann quit Microsoft early this week after a four-year stint, where he last held the role of global advertising & digital lead for APAC, Greater China Region, Corporate Marketing Group.
Nokia confirmed the news but declined to divulge details on who Schaumann was replacing and if more changes were expected in the marketing department as a result.
Prior to Microsoft, Schaumann was associate business development director of XM Asia in Singapore. With over a decade of multimedia production and digital marketing consulting experience, Schaumann has had stints with multi-national firms in Germany and the US, apart from Asia.
