Yahoo! Mobile dials up del Re

• Yahoo! Mobile names new regional head
• Arrives from Yahoo!7 in Australia
• Replaces Turochas Fuad

Regional - Yahoo! has appointed Tommaso del Re to replace Turochas Fuad as the new Head of Yahoo! Mobile, Southeast Asia.

He has been tasked with managing all business aspects of Yahoo! Mobile including product distribution, mobile carrier partnerships and mobile advertising across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. 

Having relocated from Australia to Singapore, Tommaso now reports to Matthias Kunze, Managing Director of Yahoo! Mobile, Asia. 

Prior to taking on this new role, Tommaso was the Head of Mobile at Yahoo!7 in Australia.

"We are delighted to have Tommaso onboard to lead Yahoo!'s mobile initiatives in Southeast Asia. With Tommaso's leadership and industry experience, we look forward to further growth and success for Yahoo! Mobile in this region," Kunze said.

Prior to joining Yahoo!, Tommaso held various senior marketing and strategic development roles at leading organisations across Australia and Europe, including Sharman Networks, the Telegraph Group, and Bertelsmann AG.
