Microsoft's Schaumann calls it a day
- Chris Schaumann moves on
- Was with Microsoft for four years
- Replacement not known yet
Singapore - Chris Schaumann, Microsoft's global advertising & digital lead for APAC, Greater China Region, Corporate Marketing Group, has quit after a four-year stint with the technology giant.
Confirming the news, Microsoft in a statement issued to Marketing said: "Chris has left Microsoft as part of a personal decision to explore other career opportunities that will bring a different set of challenges and responsibilities for him."
In an internal move in February last year, Schaumann moved to his current job from being the country sales manager at Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions.
Prior to Microsoft, Schaumann was associate business development director of XM Asia in Singapore. With over a decade of multimedia production and digital marketing consulting experience Schaumann has had stints with multi-national firms in Germany and the US, apart from Asia.
Microsoft did not comment on his replacement.
