Upstream adds Trend Micro account

Singapore - Internet content security firm Trend Micro has appointed Upstream Asia to manage its corporate communications and media relations programmes in Singapore.

Upstream is already working with Trend Micro on a retainer basis in Australia. The agency will now focus on reinforcing Trend Micro's industry leading position in enterprise security solutions, and help launch innovative thought leadership platforms and market education campaigns in the coming months.

Upstream has also been tasked with engaging the local media and blogger communities for the latest version of Trend Micro's flagship consumer products: Trend Micro Internet Security and Trend Micro Internet Security Pro.

"Enterprise security is our most important market segment and we will be looking to roll out key campaigns that demonstrate the industry-leading capabilities of our solutions," Eric Chong, marketing director for Trend Micro Asia Pacific, said in a statement.
