Singapore - JWT Singapore has promoted Clarence Chiew from creative group head to associate creative director, while art director Minzie Liyu takes on Chiew's role.
Chiew has been at JWT Singapore for almost four years before cutting his teeth at 10AM Communications and Crush. He has worked on global and regional work for HSBC, Shell, Unilever, Sony Ericsson and Sony.
Liyu joined JWT Singapore in June 2007 and most recently held the role of art director. In a career spanning Singapore and Japan, Minzie honed his skills at agencies such as Ogilvy, Bates, Batey and Ace:Daytons.
"Clarence and Minzie make a great team and with Thomas Yang leaving, it made sense to promote them at the same time," Ali Shabaz, JWT Singapore executive creative director, said.
"They have already picked up a slew of awards and bagged some great new clients so we expect amazing things from them in the future."
