The Tomorrow Group bags Sony projects

Singapore - Sony has appointed B2B advertising agency, The Tomorrow Group to launch two projects, the first being the launch of a new HD digital cinema projector, and the second being a new digital camera aimed at professional cinematographers and commercial production houses.

The first project launches in May and both products come from Sony's CineAlta stable. The projects are handled by The Tomorrow Group's Hong Kong office while the launch takes place in Singapore as the office acts as front row communications provider for the audience. The news follows SingPost recently appointing the agency on a project basis.

"The trend these days is that these companies, like Sony and SingPost, appoint two agencies - one for their consumer products and a specialist for their business-to-business communications needs," Stefan Ronnquist, MD for The Tomorrow Group said in a statement.

As reported by Marketing in March, the agency's Singapore office became its third office in the region joining existing operations in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
