Maxis tops up Hotlink

Malaysia – Maxis Communications has rebranded prepaid brand Hotlink in a bid to achieve a more consistent brand image across both its Maxis and Hotlink brands.

The effort officially launched yesterday with an unveil of the new Hotlink logo and the telco is launching an integrated campaign to push the brand's new "There’s always more with Hotlink" tagline.

"It is timely to bring both of our biggest brands closer together as they have been in the market for over a decade. This improved synergy will further elevate our brand equity, as we journey towards a new beginning in brand expression," Maxis chief marketing officer, Matthew Willsher (pictured) said.

Maxis has already rolled out a new marketing push for its Mobile Internet offering where Hotlink customers can select surfing preference by hour, day or month.

The company said both Maxis and Hotlink brands will be built on the same core brand values of Creative, Simple and Trustworthy, but with distinct personalities of their own.
