"As a hallmark of a vibrant city, a buzzing nightlife would tap on Singapore's strengths as a safe and secure place with cool night-time weather. World.Singapore is a government-wide growth strategy developed using the formula of 'Trust, Knowledge, Connected and Life' to build upon Singapore's core strengths and take the country to the next level of development as an attractive place to work, live and visit," the tender document stated.

Major events around the project include weekly Late Night Shopping - currently held on a weekly basis at Orchard Road, Singapore River Festival, National Heritage Board's Night Festival and others.

The appointed agency will be tasked to ooordinate and interface with participating government agencies, stakeholders as well as other external parties, roll out the Project's marketing plan among others and will report to the STB-led Management Work Committee.

The contract lasts till March 2010 and the tender closes 13 October.
