Singapore women to love Vanilla?
Group editor for MediaCorp Publishing, Juleen Shaw, said the publication would acknowledge "the complex nature of the woman's role in society today" and that it was born out of "many meaningful conversations the editorial team has had with women around us".
"As we talked and swapped experiences, we realised that a woman's role has changed vastly in just the last five to 10 years," she said.
MediaCorp Publishing has expanded editorial depth from six year old parenting title Family to help serve the new publication which will target women aged 28 to 45. Lifestyle topics featured in the magazine range from food, home and workplace strategies, to true-life stories and travel destinations.
"The magazine comes at the right time as, more than ever before, Singapore women are coming into their own terms economically, and making key lifestyle decisions," Michael Chiang, editorial director for MediaCorp Publishing said in a statement.
