HBO in HD launches on StarHub

• First movie channel in HD in Singapore
• Commercial free-line up
• Available to StarHub's HBO PAK subscribers

Singapore - From the beginning of October HBO in high definition (HD) will launch on StarHub TV and it will be free of advertising.

HBO will be available in HD to StarHub's HBO PAK subscribers in Singapore via StarHub TV Channel 602. The launch will also see HBO become the first regional movie channel to broadcast in HD in Asia.

HBO in HD is also launching in the Philippines and in Hong Kong.

Currently, all StarHub TV subscribers of the HBO PAK under the Movies Add-On tier will be able to view HBO's commercial-free line up of HD content with no additional cost. To access HBO in HD, viewers will also need to have StarHub's HubStation HD or HD set-top box.
