Yahoo to launch global brand push

Global - Yahoo is preparing a major worldwide brand campaign, and is also refreshing its online designs and presentation.
The details for Yahoo's global brand push will be unveiled in the US overnight. Marketing understands that the new campaign will be launched in Asia in the first quarter of 2010.
Yahoo is also refreshing its front page, mail and messaging services, as well as its mobile front page. These changes are expected to be launched in Asia in the coming months.
Yahoo will incorporate platforms such as Facebook and Twitter into its new front page offering, so that users can uses these services while staying on the Yahoo site. Jeff Russakow, executive vice president of customer advocacy in Yahoo, said the plan is to help users "stay on Yahoo all day".
"[We want to] be the centre of people's lives online," he said.
