Matchmove Games joins hands with Yahoo

Singapore - Yahoo has appointed Singapore-based Matchmove Games as its exclusive casual games provider for its Yahoo Games sites in Southeast Asia.
As per the partnership, clicking on the Yahoo! Games, users will be led to the co-branded Yahoo! and Matchmove Games site which boasts of the world's most popular online game titles to play on the site or download.
"Casual and social games attract a very wide audience, especially adults in their 20s to late 30s. We are offering game developers, publishers and advertisers the opportunity to reach this massive audience through just one platform: Matchmove Games," Shailesh Naik, CEO of Matchmove Games said.
The deal covers markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam and while the current site is in English Matchmove Games plans to introduce local language versions of the site in the coming months.
"Online gaming is a huge on-ramp for consumers to the internet and we are happy to be able to provide millions of our users with compelling experiences as they come to Yahoo! every day," Ken Mandel, vice president and managing director, Yahoo Southeast Asia, said.
Matchmove Games has recently launched its new online game distribution platform and is planning to launch a marketing push to promote it.
