wwwins takes digital lead on P&G's Whisper
Hong Kong - Proctor & Gamble has appointed wwwins Consulting to oversee digital marketing duties for its feminine care brand Whisper.
The agency said it won the business in a tender involving Razorfish, Digitas and Tribal DDB.
wwwins Hong Kong will be creating an online experience to strengthen Whisper's position as "a source of happiness for girls every day of the month".
Chris Ryan, managing director of wwwins Hong Kong, said the challenge for Whisper was to capture a large share of the time young girls spend online.
"We did this by fitting in with their existing online behaviour, and rewarding them for engaging with Whisper, instead of interrupting their online journeys," he said in a statement.
The experience will include a links aggregator via happyperiod.net that will allow members to bookmark and create lists of their favourite links as well as share them with their community of friends.
The platform will live in and beyond the brand website, allowing users to engage with Whisper in the spaces they spend the most time and feel most comfortable.
