Publicis appoints new regional business director

Singapore - Publicis' regional business director Euan Wilcox has left the agency and ex-Publicis Dialog Thailand GM Will Anstee will assume his position - Anstee will be based in Singapore and oversees the agency's HP business.

Matthew Godfrey, COO of Publicis Asia Pacific said Wilcox left to pursue personal interests in investments and to look at the possibility of establishing his own business, and Anstee was appointed to his new role as he was increasingly spending a large portion of his time in Singapore.

"He's been in and out of Singapore working now for about seven months and it became a question of how were we going to move him here permanently because he was starting to spend about 60% of his time here instead of Thailand," Godfrey said.

Anstee was appointed to Publicis Dialog Thailand in March last year, where he was tasked with building and developing the marketing services capability of the agency.

Prior to joining the network, he spent nine years running his own boutique agency in Australia, Spark Brand. Anstee has worked on brands such as Telstra, BigPond, Unilever, Coca-Cola, and Kellogg's and brings with him over 16 years of client and agency marketing experience.
