MediaCorp & SingTel step up MMS offering

Singapore - MediaCorp and SingTel have joined hands to provide subscription-based MMS news services.
The service offers access to content from Channel NewsAsia (CNA). The MediaCorp MMS News will provide regualr news updates images to illustrate the story. Upon subscription, one MMS will be sent to the subscriber's mobile phone daily with three stories of the day.
"We are very glad to work with SingTel to leverage on their mobile technology in extending our news content onto mobile handsets bringing multimedia news updates anytime, anywhere to everyone," Steven Chan, senior vice president for MediaCorp's interactive media division said.
Recently, MDA also collaborated with key players from the mobile industry on FutureMobile, an initiative to develop on-the-move media services and applications for the global market.
