Yahoo shifts trade marketing portfolio, searches for regional marketing director

Singapore - Yahoo SE Asia has moved the trade marketing portfolio to come under research and planning manager Roger Moy who now manages both trade marketing and research - this comes on the back of confirmation that outgoing regional director for marketing Dennis Susay will be leaving the company.

Moy's new appointment will not see him taking over Susay's regional marketing duties - the company is in the midst of shortlisting candidates for that role.

Susay, who leaves Yahoo at the end of May, is to join financial company Merrill Lynch where he will head its Pacific Rim marketing and branding team to work across both the private equity and institutional banking sectors. He leaves Yahoo at the end of May and officially assumes duties at Merrill Lynch on 4 June.

Susay joined Yahoo in October 2005; before that, he was principal consultant in the healthcare division of PR firm Bentley Porter Novelli Singapore (now Porter Novelli) where he worked for two years. Prior to that, he served for two years at Nike SE Asia as director of marketing.
