Global - Dow Jones & Company have announced the launch of a new website called ‘All things digital' which will feature news, analysis and opinion on tech, internet and media issues.
The site contains a mix of columns, blogs, text and video and will be led by co-executive editors Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher.
"‘All things digital' will apply powerful new journalistic art forms online through blogs, columns, reader exchanges, feeds and video to reach an expanded and highly engaged audience," L. Gordon Crovitz, executive vice president of Dow Jones & Company and publisher of The Wall Street Journal said.
"It's important that we try new forms of journalism, especially some of the more innovative new methods of delivering stories on the Web. It's an exciting time for media, and gives us a great opportunity to give our readers even more high quality content," Swisher said.
Dow Jones Online will handle advertising sales for the new website and there are also cross-network programs that incorporate The Wall Street Journal Online, MarketWatch and Barron's Online sites, as well as video, podcasts, RSS and mobile.
