Malaysia - In a move designed to give marketers in Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam direct support for online advertising campaigns, Yahoo announced today it is establishing direct sales teams to work on local and regional marketing campaigns.
Yahoo's direct sales teams will be responsible for selling and implementing online advertising which includes display, search, and mobile advertising solutions to companies.
Yahoo's regional team is based in Singapore.
"Marketers have been requesting to work directly with Yahoo on their campaigns and we are responding to their needs," Chris Axberg, sales director, Yahoo SE Asia, said.
"Moving forward, they will be able to come straight to Yahoo to get our global expertise and local insights to leverage the internet to grow their business," he said.
