Ocean Park launches its own ghost world
Ocean Park will offer ghost lovers a new scare this year, setting up haunted houses based on the famous Hong Kong ghost stories of High street police station as told by many locals.
Two of the haunted houses will be based on Pang brothers’ local horror movie Re-Cycle as well as a Polytechnic University student who took part in a haunted house design competition earlier.
Ocean Park's ad agency Metta was tasked to handle the advertising campaign while Pacific Link iMedia and MediaCom have been charged to run its digital marketing.
Apart from promoting the campaign on Facebook and YouTube, a new online viral invites bloggers to share local ghost stories will launch.
The park will also hold a workshop, which is collaborated with the renowned local actor “Laughing Gor” (filmed in TV police drama) to invite 1,000 of the early bird buyers to learn how to be a secret undercover “mole” for a Halloween scare when they come to the park.
The Halloween Bash kicks off in September until November this year.
