Hopkin to lead Rapp Collins Data Services' ambitions

Singapore - Rapp Collins Singapore has hired Huw Hopkin as head of Data Services from data and loyalty marketing consultancy, Ground8.

"We have been working in close partnership with Huw for the last couple of years to deliver insights and data solutions to clients. It has been a great working relationship and this was the natural next step. Data generated insights and advanced results tracking capabilities are becoming ever more important to deliver effective relationship marketing programs," Lucy McCabe, MD for Rapp Collins said in a statement.

Hopkin is expected to bring his team of experts with him to Rapp Collins as well, continuing the work both parties have done together to develop a suite of database marketing and analysis products.

"Many marketers here are dealing with cumbersome internal data systems, and find it difficult to unlock the data and turn it into powerful marketing insights. We have focused on tools which enable them to leverage their data into powerful programs that drive acquisition and customer loyalty, cost and time effectively," Hopkin said.

Clients currently using Rapp Collins data services in Singapore include McDonald's and American Express.

"Bringing Huw in to head the Singapore team is part of our ongoing plan to be able to deliver innovative data solutions to clients in the region," Chris Gordon, regional president and global chairman for Rapp Collins said in a statement.
