Vannithone fills CASBAA comms role
Mak has been with CASBAA for the past two years and is responsible for driving communications, PR and marketing for the association.
Prior to CASBAA, she was director of marketing services at National Geographic Channel Asia for six years and before that with Dow Jones Group's Far Eastern Economic Review.
Mak will leave the media industry to take on an entrepreneurial role in asset based investment and wealth protection.
Vannithone will replace Mak as director, communications and marketing for CASBAA reporting directly to Simon Twiston Davies, CEO for the association.
Vannithone was director and founder of PitchAsia, an event marketing company.
Prior to that she held senior roles at Oriented Media and Activ8, subsidiary of Outblaze. Her other job experience include being a regional marketing manager at EuroMoney.
