National - TBWA\Hakuhodo Guangzhou, China has appointed Alvin Lin as creative director effective 8 May.
Lin will oversee the interests of the joint venture company, which handles the Nissan account as well as other new business.
He reports directly to Derick Ho, chief creative officer of TBWA\Hakuhodo Guangzhou.
"I'm sure that my engagement to the agency is to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement to the challenges that will be placed before me. China as a market and the mindsets of its critical mass will be my new challenge. I look forward to the new transformation in my work," Lin said.
Lin was formerly working for more than two years within the Asatsu-DK group and departed officially in 7 March this year. In his time at Asatsu-DK Hong Kong, Singapore and Asia, he worked on campaigns for Hitachi, Nikon, Bridgestone, Casio and Fuji Xerox.
