Time Out revamps marketing department
Singapore - Ink Publishing's Time Out Singapore has restructured its marketing department with a series of promotions and new staff hires.
Marketing director Honey Lee has been promoted to the role of publisher, heading up e-commerce, advertising sales, marketing/events and overseeing production, distribution and editorial. Lee will drive strategy and synergy across all disciplines, both business and editorial.
Time Out now has two marketing managers with executive Sukaina Taqi promoted from the role of marketing manager, and the hiring of Karin van Vliet from supperclub. Van Vliet starts on 13 July in the role of marketing & events manager. The magazine has also appointed Sara Mathi as online marketing manager, in charge of e-commerce and online sales opportunites.
Time Out Singapore is also ramping up its use of social media and has launched a Twitter profile at TimeOut Events for its events division. The magazine already has its own Twitter profile at TimeOutSG and its own Facebook group.
