Global - Publicis Worldwide has launched a new global digital arm called Publicis Modem, which will be led together with Publicis Dialog under the leadership of Martin Reidy, who assumes dual CEO positions at both divisions.
Reidy - who replaces outgoing worldwide CEO of Publicis Dialog Colin Hearn - reports to Richard Pinder, COO, Publicis, and will sit on the worldwide executive committee of the network. Modem will expand internationally by aligning with Publicis Dialog operations and offices in Asia, Australia, the US and Canada, Europe, Middle East, and Latin America.
"The demand for on-line services is growing rapidly and this move confirms our commitment to strengthening our capabilities in the digital world," Olivier Fleurot, executive chairman of Publicis said in a statement.
"By aligning ourselves directly with the Publicis network we can create an even greater impact for our clients. More than ever above-the line and below-the line marketing efforts must be developed as a combined strategy. Publicis Modem has the reach, scope and depth to set a new standard in integrated, global, digital initiatives. Paired with Publicis Dialog, we can additionally lead our clients in CRM and promotions," Reidy said.
