Sheraton Malaysia chains Linked
SHERATON MICROSOFT MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA
Malaysia - Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has launched Link@Sheraton at two of its chains in Malaysia, as part of a regional roll out of its signature communications hub.
Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur and Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort have been selected for the initiative which, in partnership with Microsoft, gives guests a way to connect with family and friends via a range of digital tools. The service has already launched at Sheraton Hong Kong, Korea, China, Thailand and Vietnam operations.
"The Link is the heart of our new lobby, which we are re-designing to be a destination for guests. This unique lobby lounge offers travelers a convenient on-line experience and instant access to information for work, leisure and social networking," Vincent Ong, brand director for Sheraton Asia Pacific, said.
"Our guests are intent on making the most of their travels and we're confident this new partnership with Microsoft will enable Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel to provide them with the products, services and tools to keep them connected to what matters most while on the road," Wolfgang Boettcher, GM for Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, said.
The Link@Sheraton is an Ethernet and Wi-Fi connected communal lounge area located around the lobby, and to demonstrate how it helps guests make connections the service was brought to Pavilion shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur.
