Broadbent to lead global effectiveness team
Newly appointed director Tim Broadbent (pictured) continues in his role as president of planning for O&M Asia Pacific but will collaborate with worldwide account teams to strengthen the agency’s effectiveness culture in the organisation.
“Tim is probably the industry’s leading expert on the subject of effectiveness, and is the only person to have won two Grand Prix in addition to an IPA Gold Effectiveness Award,” Miles Young, Ogilvy & Mather CEO, said.
O&M also appoints worldwide planning directors Colin Mitchell and John Shaw. Both will chair the O&M Global Planning Council to elevate effectiveness to a more central role in the world. Prior to the new role, Mitchwell was the chief strategic officer for North America while Shaw, based in London, joined O&M in Hong Kong as regional planning director for Asia Pacific.
