OMG appoints new Thai leadership

Thailand - Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has appointed Bernard Sumayao as CEO of Omnicom Media Group Thailand.
Sumayao replaces Sean O'Brien who relocates to the UK after a four year stint in Thailand to manage client business across the EMEA region.
Reporting to Barry Cupples, CEO of OMG Asia Pacific, Sumayao will managing the OMD and PHD brands.
Cupples described Sumayao as a fantastic entrepreneur who's strong market insights would be an asset to the business.
"He has the right skill set to build on our group's established position in Thailand as the leading media services company and take the business in Thailand to even greater heights", he said.
Sumayao brings more than 20 years of experience in the media and marketing arena in Thailand. He was previously director of United Broadcasting Corporation and chairman of Media Resource Management Co.
