WSJ makes key hires for Asian editions
Regional - Dow Jones continues to invest in its Asian strategy, hiring Almar Latour to a newly created role as editor-in-chief Asia for The Wall Street Journal’s print and digital editions.
Latour has served as managing editor of WSJ.com but will now focus on growing The Wall Street Journal Asia and its growing stable of local web portals Asia.WSJ.com, Chinese.WSJ.com, India.WSJ.com and an upcoming Japanese-language website.
Latour will be based in Hong Kong and report to Robert Thomson, editor-in-chief of Dow Jones & Company and managing editor of The Wall Street Journal.
