Hong Kong - Ketchum Greater China has made a number of changes to its senior management, naming Chris Liu (pictured) as chief business officer to oversee greater collaboration of all China offices for regional pitches.

Based in Hong Kong, he will support China CEO Kenneth Chu and president Betty Lo to develop business strategies and practices for Ketchum China.

For the past 20 years, Liu has been general manager for the Hong Kong office as well as executive vice president of China, establishing strong regional network for the company.

Simeon Mellalieu will be promoted to general manager of Hong Kong, reinforcing the local office strategic development and further strengthen Ketchum's position in the market.

Joe Tong, the newly promoted Guangzhou director, has more than a decade of experience in media, public relations agencies and in-house positions. He will oversee business and client servicing operations in Guangzhou.

"The promotions of Chris and Simeon as well as the appointment of Joe are part of our strategic plan to strengthen our Greater China network and galvanize our resources to succeed in this challenging time," Kenneth Chu, partner and chief executive officer of Ketchum China said.
