Illuminant wins Green Office Alliance PR
Beijing - The Green Office Alliance (GOA) is making its way to China to promote environmentally friendly work practices and has hired Illuminant Partners as its PR agency to assist in the launch.
The GOA comprises four like-minded companies Haworth, InterfaceFLOR, Owens-Corning and Philips established to promote sustainability and green practices in the workplace.
As the official PR agency, Illuminant Partners will provide corporate identity development, digital marketing and experiential marketing to support the organisation's launch into China.
Its primary objective is to raise awareness about sustainability in commercial offices and buildings to key opinion leaders and decision makers in China's architecture, building construction, interior design and real estate industries.James Lyon, director of innovations for Owens-Corning, said Illuminant Partners has been appointed following a pitch that involved six agencies. He said the PR agency was selected as it has a solid grasp and deep understanding of GOA's positioning.
Simon Cousins (pictured), chief executive for Illuminant Partners, said its presentation to GOA sought to cut through "green clutter" with a clean and distinctive campaign for market launch.
The account will be headed by Amy Meng based in the Beijing office who specialises in environmental-friendly construction sector marketing services in China.GOA will officially launch at Beijing's Eco Expo on 17 June.
