- Increased workload from big clients
Regional - Independent integrated marketing agency Iris is set to open a Melbourne office as it continues to expand across Asia Pacific.
The Melbourne office will provide Iris with a second base in Australia following the opening of its Sydney office in January last year. Three new appointments were recently made in the Sydney office, part of a recruitment drive following an increased workload from clients such as adidas, Shell and Sony Ericsson.
At the time of the appointments, iris's regional CEO for Asia Pacific Richard Bleasdale stated the agency's intent to be the leading integrated marketing agency in Australia and the wider APAC region.
Simon Porter, managing director of Iris Sydney, will oversee operations in the Melbourne office to begin with before a recruitment drive takes place.
