Senatus network grows in Singapore

Singapore - Senatus.net, an invitation-only professional and social network aiming to provide insights and advice to its members, has recently launched in Singapore and its membership is growing quickly.
Members are chosen to join the network to share their experiences and advice with one another. The portal has been created in Singapore but boasts a membership base comprising of various nationalities.
"We aim to be the online network that has offline relevancy," Kien Lee, managing director and founder of Senatus, said.
"Only when a private network can apply itself to real world relationships can it truly be successful and become integral to networking professionally and socially."
Senatus has a magazine section with lifestyle topics ranging from art, fashion, motoring, as well as beauty and health. Each article becomes a point of interaction for members and serves as conversation starters for members.
The portal launched in February, with close friends and associates initially invited for beta testing. Thus far the network has grown to a membership base of 900 from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, London, Moscow and New York.
Members range from investment bankers, entrepreneurs, musicians, directors and social media journalists. As membership and critical mass forms in each city, events will be held for members to get together to network and these events will allow the marketing partners and brands an opportunity to communicate with the niche membership base.
