Singapore - Following a number of recent defections from its Singapore office, Batey has reinforced its creative department by hiring Keith Kwek, a copywriter from TBWA.
Prior to working at TBWA to work on the Singapore Airlines account, Kwek was at DDB working on Robinsons and StarHub. His appointment is Batey's first creative hire since the agency joined the Grey Group and follows the departures of executive creative director Andrew Hook, as well as copywriter Tony Ting and art director Yan Ng.
Kwek will work on several accounts, including Mitsubishi Motors and Metro, and he will also report to Koh Hwee Peng in her new role as the creative director of Batey."Keith is a promising writer with a great thirst for new challenges. His effortless move from retail accounts at DDB to a major account like Singapore Airlines at TBWA shows his versatility as a creative person. He will be a big asset to Batey as the agency polishes its creative edge," Koh said.
