LG launches Health+ campaign in Asia

Regional - LG Electronics, in partnership with HS Ad, has announced the upcoming Asian launch of its new Health+ ("Health Plus") campaign with the slogan "Caring for your Health in Every Way".

The campaign, created by HS Ad, will roll out in major Southeast Asian markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and India in May. The company plans to expand the campaign to more countries such as the Philippines and Singapore within the first half of 2009.

With this campaign, LG aims to underscore its market leadership as the first consumer electronics company to design and market a comprehensive suite of home appliances aimed at helping consumers maintain healthier homes for the family household.

It will be an all-around integrated marketing campaign, including TV commercials on local and Pan-Asian TV channels, as well as in-country events such as press conferences and dealer conventions, on-line promotion and in-store marketing activities.  

With LG Health+ appliances, consumers can foster healthy lifestyles in every aspect of home living, such as cooking and eating, clothing, and keeping the home clean.

Our products are designed to make it easier for home-makers to maintain a healthy home in every aspect - whether it is about eating healthy, keeping the air cleaner at home, or washing your babies' clothes in the most hygienic way possible," said Chang Hee Han, director of home appliance marketing, LG Electronics Asia.

"We hope it will provide peace of mind to our customers in Asia to know that the household appliances they use everyday can contribute to the well-being of their loved ones."

In line with the Health+ campaign, LG Electronics has introduced products that incorporate healthy features and are designed to reduce allergens. The new Health+ products include an air conditioner, washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers and vacuum cleaners.
