Petignaud to head JCDecaux airport sales
Hong Kong - JCDecaux Hong Kong has relocated Richard Petignaud, Shanghai Airport sales director, to a newly created role as business director for Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
In his role, Petignaud will oversee the airport ad sales department and oversees the sales and sales support teams for HKIA and Macau International Airport projects.
He reports to Shirley Chan, general manager for JCDecaux Transport.
Chan said HKIA is the busiest airport in Asia Pacific and the 4th busiest airport internationally.
"We see lots of growth opportunities in terms of advertising; and we are building an even stronger sales team to support such growth in the near future," she said.
In February, JCDecaux Transport launched three additional platforms targeting top-tier luxury brands to advertise at strategic locations in HKIA as reported in Marketing.
Ada Kong, marketing director for JCDecaux Transport, said there will be more digital developments in terms of more ad formats for clients later in the year.
With more exclusive luxury brands launching their boutiques in the West and East Halls at the HKIA, JCDecaux Transport said it will continue to target these luxury clients
Prior to this role, Petignaud has been sales director for JCDecaux Shanghai Airport for the past two years. Before JCDecaux, he worked in Taiwan for a B2B supplies distributor as well as Clear Channel International Group.
