Vietnam - Khai Doan has been appointed to take over the creative leadership at JWT Vietnam and will begin the new role on 1 May.
Doan arrives from JWT Germany, where he worked with a number of JWT clients and spearheaded the creative work for Nestle and Unilever across Western Europe.
He brings more than 12 years of experience in multinational agencies and has also collected several national and international creative awards.
"I am extremely happy about this appointment. Not just that we found an extraordinary creative talent within JWT, but even more important that we found someone who grew up in Vietnam and who speaks the language," Chris von Selle, managing director of JWT Vietnam said.
"The appointment of Khai is an important step in our strategy of building local excellence in Vietnam."
Guan Hin, ECD JWT SEA commented, "Local insight with an international experience is key to delivering creative work of the highest level that's relevant to the market.
"He will complement an already strong line-up of creative heads in South East Asia."
Doan will replace Vancelee Teng who after two years in Vietnam wants to return to Thailand to concentrate on a new passion project.
