New technology helps push ad messages

Inter-active Media is promoting PromoDrive -- the world first ‘networkable' USB Drive with a global patent pending technology -- which allows marketers to interact with users of the technology by ‘pushing' useful information directly to the Drive through a secure, bi-directional peer-to-peer channel -- which includes streaming income-generating advertising messages.

"Our product allows you to maintain a close relationship with your staff or members because by providing them a PromoDrive, you can interact and stay ‘connected' with them in a whole new way," said Executive Director Wee Tai Seng, adding that when the PromoDrive is plugged into a computer, businesses can communicate information such as newsletters, promotions, incentives, new product announcements and files such as MP3s, photographs, Flash files and even standard HTML.

PromoDrive includes features such as PC Lock and password protection, and compared to the standard USB flash drives available, has more applications built in such as an embedded e-mail client with built-in web browser.
