MediaCorp rejigs further, realigns marketing team

Singapore - After a top management rejig, MediaCorp has realigned its group sales and marketing teams in bid to streamline its structure.
As part of the new structure the sales teams for the individual platforms will direct their efforts on account servicing while the marketing teams will be merged to emphasize on delivering creative solutions and driving communications to the trade. MediaCorp said no staff have been laid off as part of the realignment.
Senior vice president Edwin Koh will lead the TV marketing and business planning, integrated marketing and TV12 marketing teams, which have been consolidated into a marketing and sales planning function. Koh's previous position was as head of TB airtime sales and marketing.
His portfolios include marketing communications, partnership development, segment marketing, pricing management among others.
The creative services team, under Alan Seah, executive creative director, will now be responsible for providing fully integrated creative services from print, radio to television.
In the new structure, all of the heads of various departments will report to Clifton Yong, executive vice president of group sales & marketing for MediaCorp.
