UCB Pharma hands PR to Weber Shandwick
- Provide communications counseling
- Agency's investments in healthcare talent key
- Weber healthcare division in China
Weber Shandwick will provide internal communications counsel to the Belgium-based firm before rolling out a series of campaigns.
“As part of our plan going forward, we’ve conducted internal surveys that help paint a portrait of employee attitudes and aspirations that will form the cornerstone of our work with UCB Pharma,” Kevin Beh, director of Medical & Regulatory Affairs at UCB Pharma said.
The agency added that its investment in its healthcare talent pool were largely behind the win.
Catherine Tsai from IPG sister company GolinHarris will lead the business as account director.
She has eight years experience in the consumer and healthcare sectors. In addition, the firm’s public affairs partner Powell Tate has expanded its healthcare division in China.
