Singapore - The Singapore Tourism Board has hired Bates 141 Singapore to conceptualise and manage the content for the Singapore pavilion at next year's World Expo.
Bates 141 will work together with a team of architects, engineers, music and multi-media experts to bring to life the Singapore pavilion under the winning theme of "urban symphony".
The theme has been chosen to showcase the unique rhythm of Singapore, paying tribute to the harmony of diverse cultures and influences to be found in the city-state, as well as the interplay of urban living with nature.
The World Expo 2010 will be held in Shanghai from May to October 2010 and aims to inspire people towards sustainable and harmonious urban living, based on the theme "better city, better life". The event is expected to attract 70 million visitors over the six month period.
