Internet Radio channels teens

Hong Kong - A majority of listeners go online to listen to the radio with 48.7% visiting RTHK followed by Commercial Radio's 881903.com and My903, according to figures from Hitwise Hong Kong.

Katy Ku, marketing manager for Commercial Radio Interactive said 881903.com has become a popular platform for advertisers especially those young, trendy and music related brand names targeting overseas and local audience in their 30s to middle age while My903 targets a younger audience.

She said major ad clients on both internet platforms include McDonald's, 7-11, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Lenovo to name a few.

Ku admitted, "There's not big increase of online advertisement placement yet but we're expecting a higher  demand in the coming months."
