Lighthouse names associate publisher for A+M
Malaysia - Lighthouse Independent Media has announced the appointment of Darren Low to the role of associate publisher to bolster the advertising and sales offering of the Group and its debut local title, Advertising + Marketing Malaysia.
With over 12 years of advertising and more than 17 years of sales experience, Low joins Lighthouse from Rfm - the owners of radio stations Red FM and 988. During his two year stint at Rfm, Low was sales manager, managing a team selling radio airtime.
Lighthouse Independent Media editorial director Tony Kelly said Low was an excellent hire at a time when A+M was starting to gain strong traction in the market and his appointment would solidify the Marketing Magazine Group's Malaysia sales strategy.
"We welcome Darren to the Lighthouse Malaysia team and know he will create strong connections with the market here and use his considerable credentials and experience to successfully lead the commercial strategy for Advertising + Marketing ," Kelly said.
"Never more than now have relationships been so important and we believe Darren can help nurture existing ones and build new ones among clients and readers in Malaysia."
Low started his career at China Press before moving to Hi-Q Media as well as roles with YTL Infoscreen, Star Rfm and now Lighthouse Independent Media.
