BBH drinks in Sprite
Regional - BBH has picked up global creative duties on Sprite, with China set to be a key focus for the Coca-Cola owned brand.
BBH pitched for Sprite against Wieden + Kennedy, with BBH's New York and Shanghai offices working in partnership on the review. The global incumbent on Sprite was Crispin Porter + Bogusky, while in China the brand was handled by Ogilvy & Mather.
"We now have before us both a wonderful opportunity and a massive challenge to build on the past success of Sprite in China. Knowing this is a joint effort between both Global and Local teams from both The Coca-Cola Company and BBH makes it all the more certain that success is at hand," Arto Hampartsoumian, CEO of BBH China, said.
Sprite plans to focus on the China and US markets in a new marketing push.
